Edwin Gregory started his technical training in the US NAVY as an F14 Tomcat powerplant mechanic .  After honorable discharge in 1993,  Eddie began a 11 year period of training through dealership employment and Mopar hot rodding that would eventually culminate in the creation of SHR.  Not coincidentally the vast majority of experience gained over this 11 year period was as a Mopar technician and a certified Mercedes Benz technician. 

During this period Edwin built on his already solid core of experience and technical knowledge that would eventually lead him to open his own shop.  Driven by a desire to own his own business and make it one that he believed in and was passionate about,  Edwin created SHR as a side business and became a local and internet dealer for automotive performance accessories with a 5 year plan to become self employed as a business owner.  Edwin initially expected becoming fully self employed as the owner of SHR would take much longer than it did - the business took off almost instantly and local demand for his products as well as his technical knowledge, experience and ingenuity quickly increased.   

The assembly and custom tuning of late model, forced induction, high horsepower vehicles, as well as new product development, quickly became a primary focus of SHR.  Now SHR is regarded as one of most dependable and innovative shops in its market.
